Case: St. Steel 42.3x15.6mm 20mm lugs, Minute Hour rotating bezel.
Strap: Black generic leather w white stitching.
This rare 2nd execution Autavia was introduced in late 1969 after Heuer had ceded the “Chronomatic” name to Bretiling, who continued printing it on their dials. Only these two versions featured the “ridged” markers. This one of the earliest Autavia is in overall very nice condition. Dial with the flat V, hands, ridged tritium markers are all undamaged. The Ref. and Serial Nr. 141 XXX are clearly visible. The movement and Chronograph are working and resetting nicely. Field Guide to the various Autavia 1163 black dial.
