Strap: UG Brown leather with original UG buckle
"A precision watch indicating hour, minute and second hands indicating the exact time. A recorder enabeling observations to be effected with 1/5th second precision over a continous 12hr. period". That was the description for this Chronograph in the sixties.
This is the rarer and by collectors preferred model due to the Cal. VJ 72 versus the Ref. 222101.1 w the Cal. 281
It is in all original vintage condition. The dial is in nice condition with a few spots on the right sub-dial. The tritium lime dots have partially dissipated over time. The case has some minor scratches from wear and opening however none to minimally polished with the Ref. & Serial Nrs. still visible. The movement was recently overhauled/serviced. It comes on a brown patent Universal G. leather strap and signed U buckle. A rare and timeless attractive Chronograph waiting to be worn and enjoyed for many years to come.
