The Zenith El Primero was the first commercially released automatic chronograph in 1969. There were many different references made. The A781 was produced only in 1000 pieces for one year in 1971.
In 2000 it was serviced by Zenith of Le Locle, Switzerland and some original components where replaced as the original Lobster bracelet with a Zenith expandable NSA Novavit SA one. Sold in 1972 by Golay Fils & Stahl a famous Retailer of Geneve since 1837
